Cross country skiing at Cypress mountain

“I wonder if the snow loves the trees and fields, that it kisses them so gently? And then it covers them up snug, you know, with a white quilt; and perhaps it says "Go to sleep, darlings, till the summer comes again.”
― Lewis CarrollAlice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass

When I heard we were skiing I wasn't excited. I think because I couldn't ski, but practice makes perfect. Once I learned to snow-ploy properly and stop I was more eager to go again. I felt proud that I was decent enough to be able to cross country ski.  On the second day it was a bright and sunny day. I should have brought my sunglasses. Also it was very hot and I had left my bag in the bus, which would have been helpful for taking off a layer so I could cool off. This day was like the first we just skied around and I fell a ton of times. It was a cold last day of cross country skiing. I kind of enjoyed all the snow because it stopped me from going too fast, which I liked. They were some hard times where I and a few other classmates had to craw on are hands to reach the flats. It was not a smooth run but I lasted most of it without falling unlike the other two days when I just kept falling. On the last day the cause of my falls was because one of my classmates who would push me over; this same person would also fall in front of me and in this weather the only way to stop is to fall because snow-ploying would cause me to fall but in a more hurt full way. Trust me I did that and I fell face first, also my skis came from the back and hit my head. Luckily I wasn't hurt. I fell a lot when we were going down the long hill, which brought us back to where are skiing adventure had begun. As I came down the last hill there was a lot of fog I couldn't stop myself and next thing I knew I came behind a girl in my class and hugged her. At least I had stopped and no one was hurt.

The two girls-the lions summary

In the first nation legends when I girl becomes a woman she can ask her father for anything. There father was the chief. These two girls asked if they could have a dinner with the fighting nations. The dinner went so well that these girls were told to have brought peace and brother hood. There father was so proud that he built two identical mountains. These mountains were called the lions but some might call it the twin mountains.

Sailing Gr.9

Today the day started off with no wind at all, slowly it started to rain and than right after a gush of wind came from the west side. Lots of bouts tipped but lucky mine didn't me and My partner were told to go back to the beach. We than got in to another bout with other people. The other week we went was really fun. I had a different partner who know what he was doing. It  was fun because there was not that much wind, but there was enough to make us go fast.

Maple Wood Conservation Area

When we had reached the maple wood conservation area we filled buckets with soil using shovels. We used shovels to dig holes in the dirt.  In the holes we planted trees and also put fertilizer around it to help it grow. So in a few years it will be a big strong tree.   Me and my partner Delany planted two trees in total. After the hard and dirty work we went for a nice walk and then hanged out by the water.
